
Lewis James was an American vocalist born in 1892 and one of the most active recording artists in the United States from 1917 to the 1930s. He was a member of The Shannon Four , The Revelers , and Criterion Trio. His best-known hits include " My Baby Boy ," " Till We Meet Again ," " What'll I Do ," " All Alone " and " My Cradle Melody ." His work left a significant mark on the dance and pop genres, as well as on the early history of recording.
