He rose to prominence as a founding member of the band Mountain , which made significant contributions to the development of hard rock and heavy metal. One of the band's most famous songs is "Mississippi Queen" Лесли Вест was recognized as one of the greatest guitarists of all time by Classic Rock magazine. His guitar playing style influenced an entire generation of musicians and helped shape the sound of the genre.
