Ли Ранальдо (full name: Ли Марк Ранальдо ) is an American musician, composer, guitarist, and vocalist, born in 1956. He is best known as a member of the alternative rock band Sonic Youth , one of the most influential bands in the genre. In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine included him in its list of the greatest guitarists of all time, ranking him at number 33. In addition to his work with the band, Ли Ранальдо also pursues solo projects, experimental music, and visual art. His contribution to alternative rock remains significant, particularly due to his unique approach to guitar playing and sonic experimentation.
