Laban was a Danish pop duo active from 1982 to 1987. The group consisted of Ivan Pedersen and Lene Nystrøm, and they gained popularity with their catchy synth-pop sound. Their biggest hit, "Love in Siberia", achieved international success and remains a hallmark of 1980s pop music. Laban released several albums during their career, including "Caught by Surprise", which showcased their melodic hooks and polished production. Though their time in the spotlight was brief, Laban contributed to the global popularity of Scandinavian pop music in the 1980s.
