Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (real name Кирико Такэмура ) is a Japanese singer, blogger, and model born in 1993. She is known for her vibrant image, inspired by the kawaii and decora styles. Her musical career began with a collaboration with producer Ясутака Наката of the duo Capsule , who writes her music. Among her best-known songs are "PonPonPon" and "Fashion Monster" which have received international acclaim. Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has made a significant contribution to the popularization of J-pop and Japanese pop culture outside of Japan.
