Кувалда is a Russian metal band from Spas-Klepiki, Ryazan Oblast, founded in 1993. Their style combines harsh thrash metal rhythms, roaring vocals, and fast, melodic solos. Their songs explore cannibalism, rural issues such as alcoholism, and industrial accidents, lending their music a uniquely Russian flavor. The band's first album, "Деликатесы" released in 2001, features one of their most famous songs, "Бетономешалка" Their repertoire also includes German-language songs such as "Das Fleisch" and "Die Liebe" Кувалда made a significant contribution to the development of thrash metal in Russia.
