
Кола Бельды (real name Николай Иванович Бельды ) was a Soviet and Russian pop singer, born on May 2, 1929. A member of the Nanai people, he became a popular performer from the 1950s to the 1980s. Кола Бельды was awarded the titles of Honored Artist of the RSFSR, the Yakut ASSR, and the Buryat ASSR. His work included Russian pop music as well as songs reflecting the culture and traditions of the peoples of Siberia. Among his well-known compositions is "I'll Take You to the Tundra." Кола Бельды made a significant contribution to the popularization of national music in the Soviet pop scene.
