Kidnap is an English electronic dance music producer and DJ from Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Born on February 22, 1991, he rose to fame with his track "Vehl" which won the iTunes US award for "Best Electronic Song of 2012." Kidnap was educated at Silverdale School in Sheffield and later graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in Politics and Crime. His music combines elements of house and electronica, making him a prominent figure in the dance music genre.
