Kerry Livgren (full name: Керри Аллен Ливгрен ) is an American musician and songwriter, born in 1949. He is a founding member of the rock band Kansas and its key songwriter. He is best known for his composition "Dust in the Wind" which became one of the most iconic songs of the 1970s. In addition to his work with Kansas , Livgren also pursued a solo career, exploring various musical styles. His contributions to the development of rock music have made him a household name among fans of the genre.
