
Ken Hensley (1945–2020) was a British rock musician, best known as a member of the band Uriah Heep . Born in the United Kingdom, he played keyboards and guitar and was also a vocalist, songwriter, and producer. Hensley joined Uriah Heep in 1970 and became a key figure in creating their signature sound. Among his best-known compositions are "Lady in Black" "Easy Livin'" and "July Morning" After leaving the band, he pursued a solo career, releasing several albums. Ken Hensley made a significant contribution to the development of hard rock and alternative music.
