Keep of Kalessin is a Norwegian extreme metal band formed in Trondheim. Known for their blend of black and death metal, the group was originally founded in 1993 by guitarist Obsidian C.. Over the years, they have released critically acclaimed albums such as "Armada" and "Kolossus", which showcase their technical prowess and innovative approach to the genre. The band gained wider recognition after participating in the Norwegian Eurovision Song Contest pre-selection in 2010 with the song "The Dragontower".
