Katja Ebstein is a German singer, born on March 9, 1945, in Gierlachsdorf. She is known for her performances in pop, pop, and Latin American music. Katja Ebstein represented Germany at the "Евровидение" Song Contest three times—in 1970, 1971, and 1980—making her one of the most recognizable performers of the competition. Her well-known songs include "Theater" and "Es war einmal ein Jäger" Many of her songs were written by her husband. Katja Ebstein made a significant contribution to the popularization of German pop music.
