Known for her sharp lyrics and unique, aggressive flow, she gained recognition with her debut single "Gangsta" in March 2013, which received critical acclaim. In January 2015, she released her debut album My Garden under Vested in Culture and Epic Records, labels she signed with in 2012. Kat Dahlia was also featured in Billboard's 2013 "Next Big Sound" list, ranking eighth. Her music blends pop, Latin, and dance influences, contributing a distinctive voice to contemporary music.
