
Kasabian is a British rock band formed in 1997 in Leicester. The original lineup included vocalist Tom Meighan, guitarist and vocalist Sergio Pizzorno, guitarist Chris Karloff, and bassist Chris Edwards. Drummer Ian Matthews joined in 2004, and Jay Mehler became a member in 2006 before leaving in 2013. Known for hits like "Fire" and "Club Foot", the band has received critical acclaim, including a Brit Award for Best British Group in 2010. Kasabian has significantly influenced modern rock with their blend of electronic and indie sounds.
