Kamijo (real name Камидзё ) is a Japanese rock vocalist born on July 19, 1975. He is the leader and founding member of the band Versailles , and a former member of the renowned Japanese bands Lareine and New Sodmy . Kamijo is known for his love of French culture, music, and the history of the French Revolution, which is reflected in his work. Among his most popular works are the albums and singles released with Versailles , such as "The Revenant Choir" His contribution to Japanese rock is the creation of a unique style that combines symphonic elements with glam rock.
