June Anderson is an American coloratura soprano born on December 30, 1952. A "Грэмми" Award winner, she is known for her mastery of bel canto, including works by Rossini, Donizetti, and Vincenzo Bellini. Over the course of her career June Anderson has expanded her repertoire to include roles from the Russian repertoire and works by Richard Strauss. Her contribution to world classics is considered one of the most significant in the operatic genre.
