Juan Atkins (also known as Хуан Аткинс ) is an American musician from the United States, born in 1962. He works in the techno and electro genres and is considered one of the founders of Detroit techno, earning the nickname "The Initiator." Juan Atkins has participated in projects such as Cybotron , Model 500 , Infiniti , and 3MB . He is also the owner of the Metroplex label, which played a key role in the development of techno music. His contributions to the techno genre have had a significant influence on electronic music worldwide.
