JS16 , real name Jaakko Salovaara , is a Finnish musician, DJ, and record producer, born January 13, 1975. He is known for his work in the dance, electronic, and pop genres. JS16 rose to prominence for producing Bomfunk MC's hit "Freestyler" and collaborating with DJ Darude . His debut album "Stomping System" was released in 1998. JS16 is also half of the duo Dallas Superstars and the owner of the label 16 Inch Records . His contributions to dance music have made him a key figure in the Finnish electronic scene.
