Josh Davis , also known as DJ Shadow , was born on June 29, 1972, in the United States. He is a pioneer of the trip hop genre and is known for releasing the first fully sampled album, which earned him a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. His debut album "Endtroducing....." (1996), received critical acclaim and became a cult classic in the genre.
