Jonas Renkse is a Swedish musician born on May 19, 1975, best known as the founder and vocalist of the band Katatonia . In the early years of his career, he also performed drums for the band, until the release of Discouraged Ones in 1998. In addition to vocals, Renkse often contributes to other instruments on studio albums. Early in his musical career, he used the pseudonyms Lord Seth and Lord J. Renkse . His contributions to the development of the foreign rock genre made Katatonia one of the most recognizable bands in the genre.
