John Maus (real name Jon Moss) was an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist born on November 12, 1943. He is best known as the founder the Walker Brothers , a band that achieved significant success in the 1960s, particularly in the United Kingdom. Their most famous hits include "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine (Anymore)" and "Make It Easy on Yourself" The band combined elements of pop music with orchestral arrangements, making their sound unique. John Maus made a significant contribution to the development of alternative and lounge music. He died on May 7, 2011.
