John Denver (real name Henry John Deutschendorf Jr.) is an American bard, born in 1943 in the United States. He became one of the most commercially successful solo performers in the history of folk music. In the late 1960s, John Denver performed as part of the Чэда Митчелла Trio, but in 1969 he began a solo career. Among his best-known songs are "Take Me Home, Country Roads" "Annie's Song" and "Rocky Mountain High" His work has had a significant influence on the development of the country and folk music genres.
