
Jimmie Allen is an American country and pop singer-songwriter born on June 18, 1985. Originally from the United States, he is signed to Broken Bow Records imprint Stoney Creek. His debut album, Mercury Lane, was released in 2018 and featured hit singles like "Best Shot" and "Make Me Want To". In 2021, he made history by winning the Country Music Association award for New Artist of the Year, becoming only the second Black artist to achieve this honor after Darius Rucker in 2009. Jimmie Allen continues to contribute to the evolution of modern country music with his unique blend of styles.
