Jesu is a British experimental rock project formed by Justin Broadrick in 2003. Broadrick also includes musicians Дайрмуид Дэлтон and Тэд Парсонс . The band's name is taken from the song of the same name by the industrial metal band Godflesh featured on their album Hymns . Jesu is known for its atmospheric compositions that combine elements of shoegaze, post-metal, and ambient. Among their most significant releases are the albums "Jesu" (2004) and "Silver" (2006). The band has made significant contributions to the post-metal genre, pushing its boundaries through sonic experimentation.
