Jeffrey Lee Pierce (1958–1996) was an American musician, composer, singer, and guitarist. Born in Montebello, California, he spent his childhood in El Monte. He was a founding member and longtime member of The Gun Club , a band that made significant contributions to post-punk and blues-rock. In addition to his work with the band, Jeffrey Lee Pierce released several solo albums, showcasing his unique style and approach to music. His work has influenced many musicians and remains an important part of rock history.
