Jeff Lorber is an American keyboardist, composer, and music producer born in 1952. Known for his contributions to the jazz fusion genre, he is the founder of the group Jeff Lorber Fusion. After six previous nominations, Lorber won his first Grammy Award on January 28, 2018, for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album with "Prototype".
