Jeff Golub was an American jazz guitarist born in 1955. Known for his solo career and as the leader of the group Avenue Blue, he also worked as a sideman for various rock and pop musicians. Perhaps most notably, he collaborated extensively with Rod Stewart. Over his career, Jeff Golub became a respected figure in the jazz and smooth jazz genres, blending technical skill with melodic sensibility. His contributions to jazz guitar remain influential, even after his passing in 2015.
