Jeanette (real name Джанет Энн Димеч ) is a Spanish singer, born October 10, 1951. She is known for her work in the pop and Latin American music genres. Jeanette began her musical career in the 1960s, first as a member of the group Pic-Nic and later as a solo artist. Her most famous hit is "Porque te vas" which gained international popularity thanks to Carlos Saura's film "A Sentimental Education." Jeanette has made a significant contribution to the popularization of Spanish-language pop music on the international stage.
