Ivan Mládek (born February 7, 1942) is a Czechoslovakian and Czech songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, artist, comedian, and writer. Originally from Czechoslovakia, he became known for his humorous pop and country songs. Ivan Mládek founded the Banjo Band Band, with which he released numerous popular compositions, including the hit "Jožin z bažin" which became a cult classic in the Czech Republic and beyond. His work was also popular in France. Mládek made a significant contribution to the development of the Czech music scene, combining music with humor and satire.
