Ike Turner (full name: Айк Уистер Тёрнер ) is an American rhythm and blues musician and producer, born on November 5, 1931, in the United States. He rose to prominence as the founder of the group «Ike & Tina Turner» , in which he performed with his then-wife Тиной Тёрнер . The duo released numerous hits, including "River Deep – Mountain High" and "Proud Mary" Ike Turner was also an influential producer, working with various artists in the R&B, pop, and blues genres.
