
Iain Archer is a Northern Irish singer, songwriter, and producer from Bangor, born in 1971. Known for his contributions to the rock genre, he is a two-time Ivor Novello Award winner. In 2004, he received the award for his work on Snow Patrol's album "Final Straw", and in 2016, for co-writing the Grammy-nominated hit "Hold Back the River" with James Bay. Additionally, he was nominated for an Ivor Novello in 2013 for Jake Bugg's song "Two Fingers". Iain Archer has significantly shaped modern rock through his songwriting and production expertise.
