
Hound Dog Taylor , born Теодор Рузвельт Тэйлор , was an American blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter born on April 12, 1915. He is considered one of the finest slide guitarists in Chicago and blues in general. His career began in the 1950s, but he achieved his greatest fame in the 1970s through his collaboration with Alligator Records . His well-known compositions include "Give Me Back My Wig" and "She's Gone" Hound Dog Taylor had a significant influence on the development of electric blues, leaving a distinctive mark on the genre.
