
Hot Water Music is a punk rock band from Gainesville, Florida, formed in 1993. The group consists of Chuck Ragan, Chris Wollard, Jason Black, and George Rebelo. Initially known as HWM, the band disbanded in 1996 after releasing two singles. They reunited a year later under the name Hot Water Music, inspired by Charles Bukowski's 1983 short story collection of the same name. The band went on hiatus in 2005 after Chuck Ragan left to focus on his family. Known for their raw energy and emotional depth, they have made a lasting impact on the punk genre.
