Herizen is an American singer, songwriter, and actress born on July 24, 1996. She rose to fame for her role as Mylene Cruz in the Netflix series "The Get Down" . Inspired by her father, reggae musician Johnny Dread , Herizen has contributed to musical projects such as Absofacto EP "A Thousand Worlds" and the soundtrack to Major Lazer documentary "Give Me a Future." In 2018, she released the EP "Come to My House," followed by the single "Focus" in 2019. Herizen brings a fresh perspective to the genres of R&B, alternative, and soul.
