Heltah Skeltah was an American hip-hop duo from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 1994. The group consisted of rappers Rock (Jahmal Bush) and Ruck (Sean Price). They were part of the Boot Camp Clik, a collective of East Coast hip-hop artists. Their debut album, "Nocturnal" (1996), released under Duck Down Records, is considered a classic in underground hip-hop, featuring tracks like "Leflaur Leflah Eshkoshka". The duo disbanded in 2000 but left a lasting impact on the genre with their gritty lyrics and dynamic chemistry. Heltah Skeltah remains influential in the evolution of 1990s East Coast rap.
