Helen Kane (real name Helen Clare Schroeder , also known as Хелен Кейн ) was an American singer and actress, born in 1904 in the United States. She worked in the pop, jazz, and variety genres. Between 1928 and 1930 Helen Kane recorded 22 singles, among which " That's My Weakness Now " and " I Wanna Be Loved by You " are particularly notable. The latter song became her signature song and brought her widespread fame. In addition to her musical career, she acted in films and performed in vaudeville shows, leaving a significant mark on the popular culture of her time.
