Hariharan is an Indian playback singer and composer born in 1955 in Thiruvananthapuram, India. Known for his work in multiple Indian languages, he is a prominent figure in the genres of ghazals and Indian classical music. Over his illustrious career, Hariharan has collaborated with renowned composers like A.R. Rahman, contributing to iconic soundtracks such as "Roja" and "Bombay". He is also a part of the fusion band Colonial Cousins, whose debut album won international acclaim.
