Hard Rock Sofa was a Russian electronic dance music duo formed in Smolensk in 2005. The group consisted of Alexander Shapovalov and Denis Chepikov. They signed contracts with such renowned EDM labels as Axwell's Axtone Records and Steve Angello's Size Records . Until 2012, the duo actively collaborated with the Russian trio Swanky Tunes . Among their famous tracks is "Here We Go" which became popular on the international EDM scene. In December 2014, the project was put on hold, and Alexander Shapovalov began a solo career under the pseudonym Шапов . Hard Rock Sofa has made a significant contribution to the development of Russian electronic music on the global stage.
