Gustavo Cerati is an Argentine singer, musician, and composer born in 1959 in Argentina. He rose to prominence as a member of the iconic rock band Soda Stereo , which dominated the Latin American music scene in the 1980s and 1990s. In 1993, while still part of the band, he released the solo album Amor Amarillo , marking the beginning of his successful solo career. His work, both with the band and solo, has had a profound influence on the development of Argentine rock and Latin American music in general.
