Grouper is the solo project of American musician, artist, and producer Лиз Харрис , born July 15, 1980. Since 2005, she has been releasing music on her own label and other independent labels. In 2008, Grouper released the album Dragging a Dead Deer Up a Hill , which received critical acclaim. Other significant works include the two-part album AIA and the piano album Ruins . Her twelfth album, Shade , was released in 2021. Grouper has made significant contributions to the development of experimental and ambient music.
