Greg Lake (Gregory Stuart Lake) was a British bass guitarist, guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and producer born in 1947 in the United Kingdom. He rose to prominence as a member of the legendary band King Crimson , where he performed vocals on the album "In the Court of the Crimson King" considered a classic of progressive rock. He later joined the supergroup Emerson, Lake and Palmer , which released hits such as "Lucky Man" and "From the Beginning" Greg Lake made a significant contribution to the development of progressive rock, both as a composer of complex compositions and as a performer with a unique voice.
