Graveworm is an Italian dark metal band formed in 1993. The band's name came about when the drummer saw the word Graveworm on a Benediction CD. The band began as a death metal act but later shifted toward dark metal. Over the course of their career, Graveworm has released several albums, including "Scourge of Malice" and "(N)utopia" which have received acclaim in the metal community.
