Gorky Park was a Soviet, American, and Russian rock band formed in 1987 in Moscow by musician and producer Стасом Наминым . The band performed hard rock and became known for its unique style, which combined Western rock with elements of Russian culture. The band signed a contract with the American label Mercury Records and released their debut album "Gorky Park" which featured the hits "Bang" and "Try to Find Me" Gorky Park toured extensively in the US and Europe, performing at major festivals, including Moscow Music Peace Festival . The band made a significant contribution to the popularization of Russian rock abroad.
