
Gordon Jenkins (Гордон Дженкинс) was an American composer, arranger, and conductor born in 1910. Known for his contributions to jazz and pop music, he worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and Louis Armstrong. His notable works include the orchestration for "September Song" and the arrangement of "It Was a Very Good Year". Jenkins also released his own albums, such as "Manhattan Tower", which became a landmark in concept album history. His innovative approach to orchestration and storytelling left a lasting impact on the evolution of pop and jazz music.
