Gordon Haskell was an English musician born on April 27, 1946, in the United Kingdom. He worked in the pop and rock genres and was also known as a member of the rock band King Crimson . Haskell participated in the recording of the albums "In the Wake of Poseidon" and "Lizard" which became important parts of progressive rock. After leaving the band, he continued his solo career, releasing several albums, including the successful "Harry's Bar" His song "How Wonderful You Are" became a hit in the UK. Haskell made a significant contribution to the development of progressive rock and pop music. He died on October 15, 2020.
