The Go-Go's are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1978. Their debut album, "Beauty and the Beat", released in 1981, included hits like "We Got the Beat" and "Our Lips Are Sealed". The Go-Go's have been celebrated for their contributions to the new wave genre and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021.
