Giusy Ferreri is an Italian singer born on April 17, 1979. She works in the pop and alternative genres. Her first success came with the release of the EP Non Ti Scordar Mai Di Me in June 2008, which went multi-platinum in Italy. In October of that year Giusy Ferreri released her first full-length album, Gaetana on Sony BMG . The album sold over 80,000 copies in a month, and the single "Novembre" topped the Italian FIMI chart for five weeks. Giusy Ferreri has made a significant contribution to the development of Italian pop music.
