
Gin Wigmore (born Вирджиния Клэр Вигмор ) is a New Zealand singer and guitarist, born June 6, 1986. She works in the indie genre and gained widespread recognition for the song "Brother" , which spent 11 weeks at number one on the RIANZ chart. In 2009, Gin Wigmore released her debut album "Holy Smoke" , which was certified triple platinum in New Zealand. Her second album, "Gravel and Wine" , was released on November 7, 2011. She is the recipient of five New Zealand Music Awards , recognizing her contribution to the development of indie music.
