Gift Of Gab (real name Timothy Jerome Parker) was an American rapper born on October 7, 1970, best known as one half of the Bay Area hip-hop duo Blackalicious . He released several albums with DJ Chief Xcel , including the iconic "Blazing Arrow" Gift Of Gab was also part of the hip-hop crew Quannum Projects and recorded solo projects, such as the album "4th Dimensional Rocketships Going Up" His lyrics were noted for their complex lyricism and virtuosic technique. He died on June 18, 2021, leaving a significant legacy in hip-hop.
