
George Young (George Radburn Young) was a Scottish-Australian rock musician and producer, born on November 6, 1946. He rose to prominence as a member of the Australian rock band The Easybeats , which achieved success in the 1960s. George Young also co-wrote international hits such as "Friday on My Mind" and "Love Is in the Air" He also produced albums and briefly played bass guitar for the legendary band AC/DC , founded by his brothers Malcolm and Angus. His contributions to the development of rock music made him a key figure in the history of the genre.
